Which Documents?

Send your most difficult document. We shall do a better job if you can tell us about the intended readers and what you want them to do when they've read it. Try us with business or customer letters (especially standard letters), Board Reports, technical reports, scientific papers (whether internal or for publication), government documents, even academic essays, but not fiction.

We can perfect the English style, words, sentences, paragraphs, headings, sequence of points, spelling, grammar, or punctuation of any normal working document.

Do not send us creative writing, or writing to entertain. We cannot supply the special writing genius needed (for instance) for poetry, novels, professional journalism or advertising copy. If we cannot do a good job for you we will not try.

We clarify legal and financial documents, but we are responsible only for the English. You cannot hold us responsible for the financial and legal consequences of a redrafted document, which rests with you or whoever is the admitted source or signatory. Our changes become your copyright.

We promise our clients not to give your document to anyone else, nor any part of it, not even a short extract, not even a part we have written or redrafted, unless you have first agreed in writing. If we quote from any submitted draft it is after the client has given permission. See also our privacy statement.
